Delvinia and Acrobat join forces for online syndicated survey

Acrobat's Omnitel taps Delvinia's AskingCanadians panel to expand online data collection.

Toronto-based Delvinia Data Collection and Mississauga-based Acrobat Research have teamed up to create Omnitel Online, which they say will tap a panel of 130,000 Canadians to provide the most powerful online syndicated survey in Canada.

Last year Acrobat purchased Omnitel, a syndicated telephone research study that polls 1,000 Canadians a week, but the market research company needed Delvinia’s help to take Omnitel online in a big way.

‘Acrobat has been collecting data for years by phone,’ Delvinia CEO Adam Froman tells MiC. ‘They’re moving into the online space, but they don’t own a panel, so they came to us because of our AskingCanadians panel. We’re using the same technology, which allowed us to work together well.’

‘We needed a partner with great depth and breadth,’ says Acrobat president Roland Klassen. ‘The panel delivers exactly what we need, and has the ability to meet the sampling requirements of the Omnitel brand.’
