Canadian Living launches holiday microsite

Transcontinental takes advent calendars online, and creates festive spots for brands.

Transcontinental’s monthly magazine Canadian Living is giving back to its online readers – women ages 25 to 45 – using a holiday microsite that will be live through to New Year’s Eve.

The microsite houses the 50-day holiday countdown guide, which offers recipes, baking tips and gift ideas. It has ad opps ranging from a ‘brought to you by’ logo to a big box on all videos and the holiday daily newsletter – which is anticipating 15,000 to 25,000 subscribers within the month (9,000 subscribers to date). Display is also available on the contest page, calendar page and 50 article pages.

The 50-day holiday countdown is also being promoted through the online newsletter, which has 135,187 unique subscribers. Transcontinental anticipates approximately 1 million unique visitors this month and next.
