In Toronto, Sears moves up seven spots to take over as the #1 radio advertiser for the week, while Country Style sneaks up one spot to #2.
The Canadian International Auto Show, which starts this week, ignites its ad spend and ranks at #3. ING Direct also makes a big debut on the chart at #4. Spence Diamonds moves up nine places to rest at #5, while Mandarin chews its way up four spots to #6.
Desjardins General Insurance is #7 after being off the ranks altogether the previous week, and McDonald’s moves up five spots to #8. Sleep Country Canada also moves up, seven places, to #9, and Home Depot makes a huge leap of almost 200 spots to #10.
Meanwhile, in Montreal, Montreal Gazette remains the biggest advertiser on the English radio dial for the fourth week in a row. The Brick moves up a couple of ranks to #2 and Sears makes its way back to the top 10, resting in the #3 spot.
AlarmForce falls two places to #4, while Brault and Martineau moves one up to #5. Sliding one spot in the ranks is Ministere de la Justice, which ranks at #6. Loto-Quebec moves four spots to #7, and Belairdirect inches up one place to #8.
Auto dealer Kia Mario Blain debuts on the ad spend monitors at #9, while Worldline phone service moves up seven places to #10.
