Saskatchewan-based Phoenix Group has just hired Koen Reynaert as its new media director.
Reynaert has been working as an independent media consultant in Nanaimo with clients like APTN, prior to which he was media director at Winnipeg-based McKim Cringan George, where he led media planning, research and analysis for clients like Manitoba Hydro, Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, Crocus Investments and Manitoba Branding.
Reynaert has also worked with Motorola, Ikea and Unilever in Belgium, where he spend his formative years.
While well-versed in traditional media, Reynaert is a strong proponent and user of non-traditional, social and online media. He joins the firm May 11.
