The Listener will debut on Thursday, June 4 at 7 pm ET/PT on Space, and at 10 pm ET on CTV in simulcast with NBC. The program, which premiered in March in 180 countries via FOX’s International Channels, follows Toby Morgan, a paramedic with a secret ability to read minds. Encore episodes will air Saturdays at 8 pm ET/PT on Space and on demand on Spacecast.com and CTV.ca. The hour-long show is slated for a 13-episode run.
The series, created by Toronto-based Shaftesbury Films, is supported by an interactive website. ‘The Listener Online Experience’ at Listener.CTV.ca will launch on May 21, allowing visitors to hear people’s thoughts and see their inner visions. The site will be refreshed weekly with interactive features, online exclusive video and previews of upcoming episodes. It was designed by Shaftesbury’s digital division, Smokebomb Entertainment.
CTV reaches approximately 19 million viewers a week. Space is available in 6.7 million households, and targets the 25-to-54 demographic.
