Corus Québec will deliver radio coverage of the games on ten French-language stations across the province of Quebec, while Rogers Radio will be the official English-language radio network of the games. The coverage will include the opening and closing ceremonies, as well as all of Canada’s men’s and women’s hockey games, including the medal rounds. The network will also be live in Vancouver to broadcast updates, interviews and athlete features.
Corus Québec will be fueling Olympic anticipation with its Up Close and Personal series of two-minute radio profiles, each featuring different Canadian athletes as they prepare for their attempts at the podium. Another series of daily radio editorial mini-features on the network, Lighting Up Vancouver, will feature stories about the Olympic torch relay as it makes its way across the country to Vancouver.
The network will also have access to simulcast all Olympics-related content from French-language TV stations TQS, RDS and RIS Info Sports. The coverage will be led by Corus Québec’s flagship all-sports station CKAC in Montreal.
