House holds on to its chart-topping real estate

Criminal Minds takes out Grey's Anatomy as the second-most watched program of the week.

Here are the top-ranked shows in Canada (for all persons 2+; all times ET), according to BBM Canada, for Oct. 12 to 18, 2009.

Monday: House on Global at 8 p.m. remained the top program of the week, but dropped in audience size to 3.099 million viewers. House had 3.623 million viewers the previous week.

Tuesday: It was a similar story for NCIS on Global at 8 p.m., which held on to the top spot, attracting 2.473 million viewers. The police drama had an audience of 2.839 million the previous week.

Wednesday: Criminal Minds on CTV at 9 p.m. was the second-most watched program of the week with 2.943 million viewers. The show had an audience of 2.804 million the previous week.

Thursday: Grey’s Anatomy on CTV at 9 p.m. slipped from the week’s second spot but remained the most-watched program on Thursday night with 2.884 million viewers. It had 2.911 million viewers tune in the previous week.

Friday: Flashpoint on CTV at 10 p.m. returns to take the top spot on Friday with 1.642 million viewers. It ousts CTV’s Ghost Whisperer, which had 1.675 million viewers the previous week.

Saturday: Hockey Night in Canada Game #1 on CBC attracted 1.718 million viewers at 7 p.m. The program was also most-watched the previous week with 1.686 million viewers.

Sunday: Amazing Race 15 on CTV at 9 p.m. capped off the week as the most-watched program, attracting 2.413 million viewers. The reality show had 2.001 million viewers the previous week.
