Manitoba surprises with UnexpectedTV.com

Tourism org Travel Manitoba has released a multimedia campaign with Frantic Films, focusing on things that might surprise those who have never been.

You might be surprised by what you find in Manitoba. That’s the message Travel Manitoba is sending with a new campaign using a series of non-scripted videos created with Winnipeg-based prodco Frantic Films.

Fifteen-second TV teasers and outdoor boards drive to UnexpectedTV.com where the videos live.

Throughout the year new videos will be added, and the site also houses clips produced by the Canadian Tourism Commission. Visitors are invited to share their own stories, pics and video on UnexpectedManitoba.com, which also features Travel Manitoba bloggers, and content will be disseminated into the greater social media universe as well.

The campaign is running outdoors and online in Canadian and US markets, focusing on closeby US States such as North Dakota and Minnesota.
