Here are the top-ranked shows in Canada (for all persons 2+; all times ET), according to BBM, for July 12 to July 18, 2010:
Monday: Big Bang Theory on CTV at 9 p.m. is still on top with 1.616 million viewers. The sitcom attracted 1.881 million viewers the previous week.
Tuesday: America’s Got Talent on Citytv at 9 p.m. is again the most-watched program of the night with 1.582 million viewers. FIFA World Cup had ousted the competition series the previous week with 2.254 million fans tuning in to the afternon match.
Wednesday: Global’s Big Brother 12, on a marathon run during the summer, was seen by 1.644 million viewers at 8 p.m. as the highest-rated show of the night. FIFA World Cup was most-watched the previous week with 2.254 million viewers.
Thursday: Big Brother 12 had 1.736 million fans tune in for the second episode of the week, while 1.640 million stuck around for Rookie Blue, which airs just after Brother on Global at 9 p.m.
Friday: CTV Evening News holds on as the Friday night champion with 1.446 million viewers. It had 1.405 million viewers the previous week.
Saturday: CTV National News at 11 p.m. was most-watched with 1.235 million viewers. A FIFA World Cup match was the most popular program the previous week with 1.894 million viewers.
Sunday: Big Brother 12 had elastic ratings throughout the week but the show peaked at 1.869 million as the top program of the week at 9 p.m. Spain’s win over the Netherlands at the FIFA World Cup was most-watched the previous week on CBC with 5.131 million tuning in.
