Visa checks in with luxe new card

The Infinite Luxury Hotel Collection credit card will be advertised in travel and lifestyle magazines, and in a three-panel FSI in national and local newspapers.

Visa is promoting its new Infinite Luxury Hotel Collection credit card in ‘passion’ publications and with FSIs in national and local newspapers.

The ads are being targeted at an affluent audience ($100,000+) in magazines En Route, Toronto Life and Canadian House & Home. A three-panel insert in national and local newspapers will be delivered over two weekends in September illustrating the breadth of program by listing participating hotels, Anne McNeil, head of brand and product advertising, Visa Canada, tells MiC.

TBWA is the creative agency for the campaign and OMD handled the buy.

The card is an addition to Visa’s Infinite line. Using the new card assures deals with more than 500 hotels globally, including such perks as best available rates, automatic room upgrades, valet parking and complimentary breakfast, says McNeil.
