Sleep Country gets comfy at #1: Media Monitors, Jan. 3 to Jan. 9, 2011

In the radio rankings this week, Alarmforce returned as radio buy leader in Montreal while the mattress company stayed on top in Toronto.

Sleep Country Canada continued to dominate in Toronto, taking the #1 spot in the Media Monitors ad buy ranking for the week of Jan. 3 to 9.

Porter Airlines, properly convinced that people want to leave town this time of year, took off last week, climbing from #67 all the way up to #2.

The Home Depot had other ideas, thinking people will spend the winter months and their hard-earned money inside their homes while waiting out the bad weather.

Chevrolet entered the list at #4 and Spence Diamonds entered at #9.

In Montreal, Alarmforce returned to the #1 spot it frequently holds. Danone Dairy Products entered the list at #2 and Corbeil Appliances rounded out the top three, climbing up the list from #9.

Uniprix and St-Hubert made big moves, both of them entering the list in the top 10, with the former in #7 and the latter in #10.
