Cossette wins Le Massif business

The Montreal office of the agency is the new AOR (including media) for the Quebec mountain resort and its ambitious development project.

People from Cossette will be hitting the slopes in 2011 as the new AOR for Quebec mountain resort, Le Massif de Charlevoix.

The Montreal office of the agency announced yesterday that it had won Groupe Le Massif’s business following a review that started last fall. Cossette will be handling all marketing communications for the resort from this point forward, including media buying and planning.

Cossette’s first work with Groupe Massif is the development of a campaign to support the launch of the Massif de Charlevoix Touring Train, a rail link between the mountain resort and nearby town Baie St. Paul. The train’s first trip is scheduled for June 2011.

The train is a critical component of Le Massif’s ambitious development plan, which will see the winter-focused resort expand into a four-season destination. Next on the development slate is the debut of Groupe Massif’s La Ferme (‘The Farm’), a new resort and accommodation complex in Baie St. Paul.
