Super Bowl gets super ratings: BBM Canada, Jan. 31 to Feb. 6, 2011

The NFL Final wins the week, with the Super Bowl Pre-Game Show and The Big Bang Theory rounding out the top three.

Here are the top-ranked shows in Canada (for all persons 2+; all times ET), according to BBM, for Jan. 31 to Feb. 6, 2011:

Monday: Two and a Half Men at 9 p.m. on CTV knocked off the previous week’s Monday winner, House, with 1.968 million viewers.

Tuesday: NCIS on Global at 8 p.m. attracted 2.240 million viewers, beating out CTV Evening News, which had 1.894 million.

Wednesday: American Idol on CTV at 8 p.m. won the night with 3.137 million viewers, topping its previous week’s audience of 3.103 million viewers.

Thursday: The Big Bang Theory on CTV at 8 p.m. was the top Thursday show for the third week in a row, jumping up to 3.192 million viewers from 2.315 million the previous week. The Mentalist was the night’s second top show with 2.522 million.

Friday: CSI: New York on CTV at 10 p.m. beat out CTV Evening News, which held the spot for three weeks in a row, with 2.055 million viewers.

Saturday: Hockey Night in Canada Game 1 on CBC at 7 p.m. had 1.775 million viewers, enough to win the night. The CBC had the previous Sunday, too, getting 2.446 million viewers for the NHL All-Star Skills Competition.

Sunday: To no one’s surprise, the night and the week’s winner was Super Bowl XLV on CTV at 6:30 p.m. 6.537 million viewers tuned in for the game. The second top show on the night was the Super Bowl Pre-Game Show, with 4.377 million viewers.
