Canadians score two Festival of Media Awards nominations

Touché! PHD and Media Experts are among global media agencies shortlisted for the third annual awards showcase.

Two Canadian media agencies have made the shortlist for the Festival of Media Awards, the third annual event dedicated to innovative use of media in advertising.

Touché! PHD received a single nod in the Best Communication Strategy category for its Milk ‘Natural Source of Comfort’ campaign, with credits to creative agency Nolin BBDO, CBS and Astral Media.

Media Experts is one of eight agencies up for the Award For Media Bravery for its work on Bombardier’s 2010 Vancouver Olympics campaign ‘Igniting A Nation.’

San Francisco-based agency Goodby, Silverstein & Partners also scored three nods – two for its North America-wide launch for Adobe Creative Suite 5 in Best Communication Strategy and Best Use of Digital Landscape, and one for its Adobe Museum of Digital Media in the Award for Media Bravery category.

The Festival of Media will take place in Montreux, Switzerland from May 8-11. The winners will be announced on May 10.
