Transcontinental Interactive-owned Totem Brand Stories brought home the hardware after the recent eighth annual Magnum Opus awards, with 30 awards in total, including seven first-place wins.
The international awards, sponsored by ContentWise and the Content Marketing Institute, specialize in recognizing excellence in the field of custom editorial marketing content, and are judged by the Missouri School of Journalism. The process is entirely based online, with winners notified via email.
Totem won two golds in the all-around publication category, one for Geico Today, deemed the Best Insurance Publication, and another for Sobeys’ Inspired, which won Best Retail Publication.
Totem’s custom Aeroplan publication, Aeroplan Arrival, won silver in the category for Best Tourism Publication, coming in just after Peaks Magazine, by Active Interest Media.
Totem’s Rougemag.com/en-CA for client Procter & Gamble won two golds in both Best Landing Page category and the Best Publication Companion Web Site Design category. The site also won silver in Best Overall Design, coming in after Lexus Magazine, by Story Worldwide.
Totem also won gold for its copy work, raking in Best How-to Article for “Easy as Pie” in Sobeys’ Inspired, Best Advertorial Editorial for “Fraud Fighters” in Geico Now and Best Feature Article for “Mexico City: Urban Exotic” in Aeroplan Arrival.
