Bell Media specialty channel The Comedy Network is going into its 15th year with a new look, rolling out on Tuesday, Nov. 1.
Designed internally by the Bell Media team, the new look reflects the channel’s emphasis on exclusive shows like PicnicFace and the stars, Sally Basmajian, VP and GM, comedy and drama, Bell Media tells MiC.
It is also designed to showcase the channel’s programming strategy, with CTV comedies like Up All Night and Whitney airing during primetime on The Comedy Network.
Basmajian says the channel is expanding its audience beyond adult males, noting BBM Canada numbers from the first seven weeks of the Fall TV season which saw The Comedy Network double its teen audience.
The new look will be showcased across the Bell Media platforms, says Basmajian.
