Slice has laid out a slate of new reality shows, with addiction and adultery as the trending theme this fall.
There will be six new series and just as many returning shows on the Shaw Media-owned channel with the schedule kicking off with Collection Intervention on August 27 at 10 p.m. The show takes viewers into homes occupied with overwhelming memorabilia and collectibles expert Elyse Luray helps couples decide whether or not to hold onto collections such as G.I. Joe action figures and Star Wars movie posters.
The world premiere of The Mistress is set to take place on the channel on August 29 at 8 p.m. and follows the journey of Sarah Symonds, former mistress to Chef Gordon Ramsey and Lord Jeffrey Archer. The adulteress shows viewers what life is like on the other side of the tracks, teaching other women caught in extra-marital affairs how to empower themselves.
I’m Having Their Baby premieres the following Friday on August 31 at 8 p.m. and features pregnant women (from a soon-to-be teenage mom to a wife in an affair with another man) and their experience of having to go through an adoption process.
Ex-Wives of Rock also debuts on August 31, at 10 p.m. and the Shannon Tweed-narrated show looks at the lives of four ex-wives and how they have had to reinvent themselves after divorcing from their famous rock-star husbands.
Beginning October 2, Keasha’s Perfect Dress (pictured) airs at 9 p.m. and follows the Say Yes To The Dress bridal consultant as she opens up her own boutique in Toronto.
The last new series, My Shopping Addiction, airs in November (no report as to what day or time) and shows a range of shoppers who are obsessed with retail therapy, purchasing items such as clothing and accessories and how it takes a toll on their finances and personal lives.
Returning series include Intervention Canada, The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Tabatha Takes Over, Million Dollar Listings, Pregnant in Heels, Mob Wives and Brides of Beverly Hills.
