Huffington Post Canada has expanded its footprint with the launch of Huffington Post Alberta and Huffington Post British Columbia. The new sites are the third and fourth for the AOL Canada company which started Le Huffington Post Quebec in February of this year.
“More than one third of all Canadian traffic to Huffington Post sites is from Western Canada, so regional expansion is a natural progression,” said Graham Moysey, general manager, AOL Canada in a release at the time the new sites were announced.
Huffington Post Canada had 3.4 million unique visitors to its site in June, according to comScore numbers provided by AOL Canada. Le Huffington Post Quebec had 271,000 unique visitors for the same month.
