CBC buys big: Media Monitors

The pubcaster bought the most airtime in Toronto for the week of Dec. 31, 2012 to Jan. 6, 2013.

The CBC bought the most radio airtime in Toronto for the week of Dec. 31, 2012 to Jan. 6, 2013, according to the Media Monitors report. Entering the list in the #1 spot, the pubcaster knocked down last week’s leader, Rogers Wireless.

Other big moves in Toronto for the week include Lowe’s, which jumped from #27 last week to #2 this week, and Subway which entered the list in the #3 spot.

Dormez-vous took the top spot for the week in Montreal, moving up from #8 last week.

The #2 spot in the city went to Brault & Martineau, which jumped from #6 last week. Sears took the #3 spot, moving up from #5 the previous week.
