MDC Partners adds an EVP of analytics

David Norton will work with the network of agencies to help build its analytics and consumer insights resources.

MDC Partners has announced the hire of David Norton in the newly created role of EVP of analytics and consumer insights. Working out of MDC’s New York office, Norton will be responsible for optimizing the agency network’s advanced analytics resources and building the capabilities needed to deliver omni-channel brand experiences for clients.

Norton comes to MDC following 15 years at Harrah’s and Caesars Entertainment, where he most recently served as CMO. In this role he oversaw the entertainment company’s loyalty program as well as traditional and digital advertising.

“Analytics is one of the most important tools major marketers have at their disposal to drive tangible, measurable, incremental growth and returns on their marketing investment,” said Miles Nadal, president and CEO, MDC Partners, in a release. “With David’s leadership, we will drive practices around measurement and insights forward, and further enhance our clients’ performance.”

Norton will step into his new role effective immediately.
