Sunday night’s season four premiere of Game of Thrones on subscription-based HBO Canada brought in an average audience of 1.1 million viewers, making it the most-watched launch episode on the channel for any show to date.
The season four premiere was up 31% over the season three launch episode for the show, also making it the most-watched broadcast on HBO Canada to date this year.
Bell Media promoted the launch of the new season of the drama with its largest-ever marketing push for HBO Canada, featuring elements including OOH and TV spots.
