Sperm donor comedy Seed will not be renewed by Rogers Media for a third season.
“We are extremely proud of Seed and the two seasons that we were able to bring to our viewers. It was a privilege to work with the immense talent behind both the cast and creators involved in this quality Canadian production,” said a spokesperson from Rogers in a statement. “It was a difficult decision, but, despite critical acclaim, the series was unable to connect with the audience it needed to continue.”
The series, which starred Adam Korson and Carrie-Lynn Neale, aired on Rogers’ City channel in Canada. Seed was also acquired by The CW Network stateside for its summer 2014 schedule, but was pulled soon after the series bowed on the network on July 14.

TGFT (thank God for that). In other words, nobody watched it.
