St. Joseph adds to its executive ranks

Two former media agency execs, Robert Lewocz (pictured) and Anna Wells, are joining the company as VPs of business development.

St. Joseph Communications has hired two new VPs of business development – with Robert Lewocz joining its content group and Anna Wells stepping in to its print division.

Lewocz (pictured, right) joins from ScribbleLive, where he was VP agency partnerships at the content marketing software provider. Before that, he was SVP of client services at Mediacom. He has also worked at creative agencies such as Cundari and Ammirati Puris Lintas in his more than 20-year career and has client-side experience, having worked at both Canadian Tire and Ikea North America.

Lewocz says he had worked with St. Joseph on the Sears Whole Home print catalogue business in the late ’90s while at Ammirati Puris and had admired the company’s evolution from those days of print to a multi-platform content producer that works with brands to engage consumers at multiple touchpoints. He says he reached out to Doug Templeton, president of St. Joseph Communications Content Group, about joining the company and landed the VP position, where he will report to Templeton.

“Given the changing dynamics of how consumers engage with brands, [St. Joseph] truly understand how to make that connection,” Lewocz said. “That really is the marketing currency of the future.”

Lewocz steps into the role vacated by Mark Zwicker, who was recently promoted to VP, strategy.

anna_wellsWells (pictured left) takes a new position, with a focus on enterprise opportunities and connecting print throughout the company’s ecosystem, she says.

She joins the print group following a hiatus, during which she did some consulting work. Prior to that she was VP group media director at Starcom MediaVest and has also worked for the CBC and Canwest during her 20 year career. She will report to Ray D’Antonio, EVP sales and marketing at St. Joseph Communications.
