Clear Channel’s digital wraparound columns

The OOH co has put up digital screens that wrap around columns in Toronto's Union Station.

Commuters rushing about in all directions won’t have to crane their necks to scan content in Union Station’s shiny new GO terminal.

Clear Channel Canada has put up six, six-foot screens that wrap around the station’s formidable columns. The digital screens are the first of their kind in Canada. Content on each column will be displayed in sync with the others.

The station is one of the busiest spaces in the city and sees 65 million commuters annually.

The OOH co won the rights to advertise at Union Station in 2014  and plans to expand its digital and static displays at the station as renovations to the new GO concourse are completed.

Last week, it updated its Dundas Square digital screen atop the Bay Media Tower.
