NLogic has launched a new API that allows clients to integrate Numeris data into reports and dashboards.
Called ConexAPI, it pulls data directly from NLogic’s proprietary data warehouse. The launch comes following interviews with over 60 industry members about the changing media ecosystem. David Phillips, president and COO of NLogic, says ConexAPI aims to address one of the major themes from those discussions, that people value having all the Numeris data but can’t pull it together easily.
“Clients told us Numeris data is valuable, but until now it’s been operating in a silo,” says Phillips.
Radio PPM data will be added to ConexAPI before the end of the year, with other data like ad occurrence, diary and third-party data planned for the future.
“We have a particular challenge in Canada as our TV data is arguably the most complicated in the world,” he says. “As a result, it presents unique challenges when clients try to work with it, whether they’re looking to put it into a dashboard or an in-house system. A lot of time is wasted in manual processes and a lot of data is left out because it’s too difficult to integrate. Our API looks to simplify our clients’ lives by putting the data where they want it, instantly.”
With programmatic TV coming to market within a year, Phillips says NLogic has started discussions with companies including TubeMogul and Videology to find ways to provide easier access to data through ConexAPI.

CORRECTION: An earlier version of this article, and the subject line of the email that accompanied it, incorrectly identified NLogic as an arm of Numeris. In fact, NLogic and Numeris are separate entities and as such, the changes made to NLogic were in no way related to Numeris. MiC regrets the error.
