Cineplex Digital Solutions has announced Digital Hoarding screens, a new interactive signage option that presents an alternative to vacant storefronts in malls.
The interactive screens have been installed for the first time at Markham, Ontario’s CF Markville, with two faces driving guests to the mall’s Express Eatery through mobile couponing. Once in the food court, additional Digital Hoarding screens have activities and games that are aimed to increase dwell time in the space.
Digital Hoarding screens are 98″ across, and have two customized interactive experiences: Top Shopper and Match by Memory. The Top Shopper game involves product icons falling on screen that visitors must catch and add to their shopping bag while avoiding obstacles. The Match by Memory game is a two-minute memory challenge that has visitors use the touch-screen to flip over as many matching cards as they can before the clock runs out. Both games are equipped with a leader board to encourage guests to return and compete for the highest score.
In addition to the two games, Digital Hoarding boards can be customized to include photo-capture walls, social media connectivity, participant data capturing and couponing.
