CTV scores with Adele special

Bell Media brought in 2.1 million for the live concert, which becomes the most-watched entertainment special since February.

Adele continues to burn up the charts, as well as the airwaves.

Her special, Adele Live in London, brought in an average audience of 2.1 million to CTV, according to final numbers from Numeris.

Taped in front of a live audience in London, the special had the singer performing songs from her new album, 25 and talking to host Graham Norton from U.K.’s The Graham Norton Show about her life and career to date.

Viewers to the show were split, with an average audience of 1.5 million watching it live on Nov. 25 and 602,000 through playback on PVR.

The show is the most-watched entertainment special since February in Canada, according to Numeris data from CTV. It takes over the top spot from SNL 40th Anniversary Special, which aired on Global TV in Canada.
