Former CBC Radio exec lands at podcast company

Chris Boyce will be establishing a Toronto presence for Vancouver-based Pacific Content.

Former CBC Radio executive Chris Boyce has joined Vancouver-based podcast and branded content-focused Pacific Content.

chrisBoyceBoyce becomes a co-owner and principal at the company, which has produced branded podcasts for companies including Slack, Telus and the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. He is tasked with building the Toronto presence for the company, which has grown from two to 10 people in the last three months.

At the CBC for nine years, Boyce most recently worked as executive director of radio and audio, leaving the company last spring after taking a leave of absence following sexual assault charges made against then CBC Radio host Jian Ghomeshi.
