Maxus Canada is taking one more step away from the siloed business models of the past with a new executive hire.
Lindsey Talbot has been named managing director of all channel trading, a role that will see her work to integrate all-channel trading into each of the agency’s client teams.
She joins the agency following 12 years at Starcom MediaVest, where she worked as VP and group investment director. This isn’t Talbot’s first time at GroupM; she worked at MEC earlier in her career as an investment supervisor.
Talbot will sit on the Maxus Canada executive team in her new role, and will report directly to agency president Ann Stewart.
“We have moved away from siloed broadcast, print and digital buyers to a holistic approach of media buying, building a group that is responsible for all channel activation in the agency,” said Stewart in a release on the hire.
