Captivate grows video network

The location-based video company has added 13 new buildings to its roster and hired a manager tasked with building that network further.

More video screens are up for grabs in Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver with news that Captivate had added 13 office buildings to its location-based video media network.

The OOH company has also created a new position and hired Steve Chodat as its new business development manager, real estate.

The new locations include Deloitte’s new headquarters at Bay Adelaide Centre East in Toronto, the MNP Tower in Vancouver and Calgary’s Eau Clair Tower and Calgary City Centre.

With these additions Captivate’s network now includes 12,000 screens in 1,800 office buildings across 25 urban markets in North America.

In the new role of business development manager, Chodat is directly tasked with further growing Captivate’s network of buildings. He is responsible for strengthening and expanding relations with Canadian property managers.

Prior to joining Captivate, Chodat worked as VP of business development with custom content company Finally Content. He has also held roles with Mars Inc. and Rogers Publishing.
