Terry Horton tapped to lead Hearts & Science

Horton moves over from fellow Omnicom media shop Touche!.

Last week Omnicom Media Group unveiled official details for its third global network, the data-driven Hearts & Science.

This week MiC has learned Terry Horton is the Canadian lead for the new agency. Horton is moving to Hearts & Science as managing director after over two years leading the Toronto office of fellow Omnicom media shop terryHortonTouché!.

“The combination of Terry’s depth and breadth of retail experience, his expertise in multichannel marketing and the results he’s achieved for blue-chip brands over the course of an 18-year career made him the ideal choice to lead Hearts & Science in Canada,” said Scott Hagedorn, CEO, Hearts & Sciences, in a statement.

Succeeding Horton in his role at Touché! is Jeff Berry who moves to the Omnicom agency from his role as general manager at the Toronto office of Cossette Media. Taking over for Berry is Brooke Leland, who moves to Cossette Media from Jungle Media.

The Canadian office of Hearts & Sciences will be located at 2 Bloor St. West in Toronto, and will have an initial headcount of 40 staff.
