CBC reorganizes media solutions team

Mary Kreuk will lead the new team as executive director, multiplatform media sales and marketing.

CBC & Radio-Canada Media Solutions has announced a team and operational restructuring that will see its multiplatform sales operations for Toronto and Western Canada brought under its marketing division.

mary kreukMary Kreuk will lead the new structure as executive director, multiplatform media sales and marketing, and is charged with heading multiplatform sales, as well as content marketing, strategic solutions, sports partnerships and digital innovation marketing. She came to CBC last year after more than 12 years at Bell Media where she was last VP, consumer marketing and brand partnerships for CTV.

In her new position, Kreuk will oversee Mike Armstrong, director, sports and digital innovation marketing, while also working with Robin Neufeld, director, content marketing and strategic solutions and Errol Da-Ré, head of sports and Olympic sales. Her ambit also includes overseeing Karen Eckert and Michele McEnery, both Toronto national sales directors and Heather Gordon, director, digital sales, Toronto.

In a press release Jean Mongeau, GM and CRO, CBC & Radio-Canada Media Solutions, stated that the restructure is part of the division’s efforts to give clients more effective and innovative solutions in a “constantly changing market.”

Under the reorg, Neufeld will now be responsible for all non-sport national content initiatives. Liane Tabah, senior manager, Strategic Solutions, Radio-Canada, Toronto and Adrienne Allan, senior manager, Strategic Solutions, CBC, Toronto, will report to Neufeld.

Along with these changes, Jim Kozak, senior director, marketing and sports partnerships, has been let go.
