There’s been some top-level movement at AOL Canada, with Joe Strolz being promoted to head of Americas, and Brad Cressman taking over his role as Canadian lead.

Strolz joined AOL Canada as general manager for the Canadian team in 2013, and worked as the partner integration bradCressmanlead for Microsoft Advertising last fall. In his new role he will oversee the strategy for the Americas region outside of the U.S., with a focus on building AOL’s footprint in Latin America, according to a post on his promotion. The announcement comes on the heels of AOL opening its first office in Latin America last fall. He will report to Graham Moysey, who was the GM of AOL Canada prior to Strolz, and was promoted to head of international in 2014.

Cressman moves into the GM position at AOL Canada from his current role of head of business operations at the Canadian office. He joined AOL Canada as head of content in 2010. He will be responsible for defining the local strategy for AOL’s Canadian outpost within its wider global objectives, and will continue to run the Canadian business operations. Cressman is credited with playing a key role in the launch of HuffPost Canada, as well as AOL’s original video content division.
