Cossette Media adds an SVP

Claude Lamoureux is joining the Montreal office, taking over from John Tarantino, who had been in the role for 25 years.

Cossette Media has rounded out its leadership team, hiring Claude Lamoureux as SVP and GM for Quebec and Eastern Canada.

Lamoureux takes over the role from John Tarantino who left the agency at the end of June following 25 years in the role in order to pursue new career opportunities, according to a Cossette Media representative.

Prior to joining Cossette Media, Lamoureux most recently worked at Cogeco, where he was GM at Métromédia before becoming VP of digital development at Cogeco Media. Prior to Cogeco Media, Lamoureux worked in senior roles, including media director and VP of account services and media at Bleublancrouge.

Lamoureux joins Brooke Leland, SVP and GM of Ontario and Western Canada and Mike Rumble, SVP and CSO, as part of Cossette Media’s national executive team. The executive team reports to Joseph Leon, president of Vision7 Media.
