Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary-based REC Media, an OOH company which specializes in recreation and community-centre advertising, is growing its exec sales team.

In an effort to grow its national sales presence, the company has hired Andy Querin as its chief revenue officer and Karen Hounjet as VP, sales.

Querin comes to REC Media from Oboxmedia where he held the same title. Prior to that he was president and COO at Zoom Media and was also national marketing manager at CBC Television. Having been on the company’s advisory board for the past four years, Querin is familiar with the company’s goals, as well as its culture.

Hounjet was most recently VP, sales and marketing at Redpoint Media, and will be focusing her efforts on growing REC’s Western Canada business in her new role.
