Carat Montreal ups Savard, Verdon to co-managing directors

The new positions will support the company's efforts to focus 100% on the digital media market by 2020.

Carat Canada has promoted two of its veteran employees to co-managing directors of its Montreal outpost.

Former SVP Michèle Savard (pictured, left) and former VP and group director Dominique Verdon (pictured, right) have just assumed the newly created positions, and will report directly to Carat Canada president Jeff Dack. The pair will be focused on governing strategy and growth for Carat in the metropolitan Montreal market.

Dack told MiC in an email statement that the agency is currently looking to shift its focus to become a 100% digital economy-focused shop by 2020. He added that promoting Verdon and Savard will help the company shift its focus to new mediums more efficiently.

Specifically, Carat will focus on offering more real-time solutions and providing more data insights into audience trends.

“Redefining media is our vision and we are in the process of redefining ourselves too… We are evolving from being a media agency to an audience agency,” said Dack.
