Seevibes has made a key hire, announcing the appointment of Sylvain Martel as CRO for the Montreal-based social media data company.
Martel comes to the company from Facebook Canada, where he has worked for the past three years, launching its Quebec office in 2013.
Pursuing international growth for the company will be a big part of Martel’s remit, according to a release on the hire. Laura Di Costanzo, director of marketing and product development at Seevibes, added the company’s revenue has grown 250% in the past year, making now the right time to hire its first CRO.
Seevibes currently analyzes data from over 150 million profiles in eight markets and five languages. It uses that data in its Engagement Graph tool, which measures users on Twitter and Facebook.
