Toronto-based real-time mobile location company EQ Works has added a VP of partnerships to its team, hiring Robert Meth.
Tasked with growing the company’s portfolio of national and international partnerships, Meth comes to the company from his role as head of national digital revenue at Metroland. Meth’s experience also includes roles at TubeMogul (now Adobe) and MediaCom Canada.
Nesh Pillay, VP of marketing, EQ Works, said that growth at the company has ramped up in the past few months following the introduction of its new hyper-local mobile location tool Locus.
“That product has meant we have quickly found ourselves in a lot of partnerships with agencies and publishers,” she said. “We needed someone with Robert’s knowledge of the industry to help grow the product.”
Meth’s first day at EQ Works was April 17.
