Reshift Media adds new VP of sales

Dean Perry has joined Reshift Media as the company’s new VP of sales. He has previously held roles including VP of revenue and sales with the Retail Council of Canada and national director of sales with Postmedia. At Reshift, Perry will be primarily focused on continuing the expansion of the company’s U.S. and international sales around its Brand Amplifier software. Kirk Allen, COO, said the company is on pace to grow sales by 50% this year thanks to the new software, which was introduced in April.

Kijiji adds to national team

Kijiji Canada has announced that Chris Loschiavo has been promoted to account executive for the display agency sales team in Toronto. Loschiavo previously worked on the company’s direct display team. His new role will see him partnering with select media agencies around Kijiji’s ad solutions. He has been with Kijiji since 2014, starting at the company as a sales planner before transitioning to the account manager in 2015.

Big creative shifts  

Some major creative and design moves this week, including Toronto-based Jacknife hiring its first president, bringing Cameron Wykes into the role. He is tasked with growing the agency’s offering into something that’s more holistic for clients.

Also on the creative side, one of Rethink’s founding partners has left the agency. Dre Labre joined Rethink when it opened its Toronto office in 2010, and has been a creative director and partner at the agency, becoming involved on its work with Molson Canadian and taking particular interest in digital projects at the shop.

Lastly, Michael Kasprow has joined Jackman Reinvents as creative director. He most recently worked at BBDO Toronto as SVP and ECD, taking a few months off after leaving that role before deciding to sign on with the Toronto-based shop.
