Rogers buys the top: Media Monitors

The company purchased the most radio advertising in Toronto for the week of Aug. 28 to Sept 3.

Rogers bought the most radio advertising in Toronto for a third straight week, taking the top spot for Aug. 28 to Sept. 3, according to the latest Media Monitors report.

The telco was followed by Fido Solutions, which jumped to #2 from #5. Sleep Country Canada also moved up, jumping to #3 from #5, as did the Canadian National Exhibition, moving to #4 from #7.

Pizza Pizza entered the list at #5, closing out the top of the chart in the city.

Montreal’s top spot also remained static for the week, with Bell buying enough ad space to stay at #1.

Virgin Mobile stayed at #2 again, while The Source moved up to #3 from #4.

Shoppers Drug Mart entered the list at #4, while Allstate jumped to #5 from #11, rounding out the top of the chart in the city.
