Dentsu Aegis Network’s Annette Warring named global client lead for GM

The Canadian CEO will be moving to Detroit for the new position.

AnnetteWarringAnnette Warring has been named executive client president for the General Motors account at the Dentsu Aegis Network.

Warring has served as CEO at Dentsu Aegis Network Canada since 2014. She previously worked as president at Aegis and prior to that was COO at Genesis Vizeum.

“With ride sharing, autonomous vehicle technology and online retail challenging industry norms and evolving consumer expectations, Annette brings a unique combination of insight and experience across the entire marketing funnel which positions her well to build the brand and grow sales,” said Nick Brien, CEO Americas, Dentsu Aegis Network North America in a release on Warring’s new position.

In the new role, Warring will report to Brien as well as Peter Huijboom, CEO global clients and media brands, Dentsu Aegis Network. She will relocate to Detroit for the new position.

Warring will continue to work with the Dentsu Aegis Network Canada team in the coming months. A new Canadian leader for Dentsu Aegis Network hasn’t been named at this time, according to an agency representative.
