The Amazing Race Canada stayed on top of the Numeris rankings for the second week in a row. The Canadian reality show pulled in an average minute audience of 1.77 million viewers, topping all other single-night programs in Canada.

However, its audience decreased slightly from last week, when it pulled in 1.81 million viewers. Second-place finisher, America’s Got Talent, made modest gains over its previous audience (up to 1.59 million viewers from 1.51 million), closing the gap between the two popular series.

Big Brother’s three weekly broadcasts rounded out the top five for the week, bringing in 1.3 million (Thursday), 1.28 million (Sunday) and 1.22 million (Wednesday).

The two series battled it out for the top show in individual markets, with America’s Got Talent taking Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver, while Race took Edmonton. Calgary also favoured a different show, with MasterChef coming out on top.

In the Francophone market, Ninja warrior: Le parcours ultimate took the top spot, pulling in 669,000 viewers.
