CloudRaker adds to media, client services team

CloudRaker, which offers both creative and media buying services, has added to its media and marketing teams, as well as its creative services. Digital media specialist Michelle Hellier, who previously served as an ad ops specialist at The Globe and Mail and worked with media agencies Mindshare and Havas Media Canada, will guide digital buying clients throughout their campaigns. Samantha Spergel also joins the team as lead advisor and will specialize in developing campaigns for retail clients. Andrea Martino has also joined as marketing for the agency’s Toronto office as it aims to raise its profile in the market.

Also joining CloudRaker on the creative side are design director Ian Matheson and graphic designer Sabina Kuljanova.

Neo-Traffic adds two senior sales positions

OOH company Neo-Traffic has made two key appointments in the midst of major growth. Ivana Costantini has been promoted to director of sales for the Toronto office. She has been with the company for just over a year and will now be tasked with guiding the market’s local sales team. New hire Eric Menzies has  become VP of sales and marketing. On top of leading both local and national sales teams, he will work closely with the senior team on long-term strategy and development. He previously managed street furniture for Bell Media’s Astral.

CBC makes a big senior move

Longtime TV exec Trish Williams has joined the CBC as its new executive director of scripted content. Williams will report to programming GM Sally Catto and has been tasked with developing CBC’s drama, comedy and film slate. She previously oversaw original series development at Bell Media. Williams’ appointment comes only a few months before CBC is set to unveil its 2019/2020 programming slate.
