Wavemaker makes big waves with new hires

There’s a lot of shifting over at Wavemaker where more than 20 new hires and promotions are settling in. New at the director level are strategy director Rory Petty and recently promoted media director Jared Aldridge. New senior directors/planners include Peter Forde, Madeline Pace and Gloria Truong. A host of new buyers/planners have also been hired and promoted, including Hitakshi Arora, Emma Buisson, Stacy-Ann Forester, Hannah Gander, Odecca Ordonez, Jenna Singh, Stephanie Tomaszewski, Anthony Visconti. New assistant planner/buyers are Tamara Iaccobucci, Jason Lagance and Emma Lasagna. Claire Grevedon will serve as client business manager, Malika Cheref as digital manager and Chen Chen as performance manager, while Katherine Seatree has been hired as a research analyst.

TLN secures national sales manager

With more than 15 years in the business with companies like Shaw Media, Vice Magazine, and most recently, TBD Telecom By Design, Tim Kirby has taken a new role.  Joining TLN Media Group as national account manager, Kirby will focus on growing national awareness of the company’s English lifestyle content and Serie A Italy soccer coverage. Kirby will also head up brand partnerships with TLN, the official licensed broadcaster of the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.

Reprise appoints new digital  strategy director

After a year with Mindshare, Pierre Babineau will embark on a new role as digital strategy director for Reprise, IPG’s global global digital marketing agency. Formerly of NuFocus Strategic Group, founder of  Peach Marketing Agency, Babineau brings leadership experience, having developed marketing strategies for brands of all sizes in the hospitality, tourism and automotive industries.
