Hires have been made across agencies, vendors and rep houses.

Adapt Media adds industry vets 

Karl Flanders and Diane Wilson have joined Toronto-based OOH media provider Adapt Media, tasked with growing sales across its portfolio, including the new Ontario DriveTest ad sales business. Flanders, who takes on the Atlantic region, worked on the agency side for nearly 20 years before moving to sales in 2018, working with Astral OOH in Halifax. Wilson repped Canadian sales for magazines like Time and People for two decades.

Innocean finds SVP inhouse

Spiro Paravantes is now SVP of media operations at Innocean Worldwide Canada. Paravantes joined the agency in 2012 as a group media director, and has been in the industry for over 17 years, working at Doner Canada, Bensimon Byrne and Initiative. His new duties will involve running a fully internalized and integrated media operations team at Innocean, which handles advertising for Hyundai and Kia.

MediaTonik hires former La Presse sales manager

Raj Chowdrey is the latest addition to ad solutions provider MediaTonik. Joining the Toronto office, Chowdrey will be responsible for developing multiplatform projects for agencies and brands. Chowdrey comes to the rep house from La Presse, where he worked as a project manager in both print and digital advertising solutions. Chowdrey’s hire comes following another key hire, longtime sales veteran Heidi McLeod, and following the signing of new clients L’actualité, Ricardo and others.
