Canadians love The Good Doctor: Numeris

Canadians tuned in for prime time dramas and some familiar comedies like 'Young Sheldon' as well as Jennifer Lopez's return to 'SNL.'

For the second straight week, The Good Doctor reigned as the nation’s most-watched single-night broadcast, according to Numeris.

With an AMA of 2.53 million the hospital drama now in its second season drew more viewers than in previous weeks, edging out a lead on 9-1-1 which garnered an AMA of 2.22 million. Young Sheldon climbed back onto the charts in Toronto/Hamilton and Vancouver/Victoria with a nationwide AMA of 1.84 million viewers.

Jennifer Lopez’s return to host Saturday Night Live drew audiences in the Toronto/Hamilton market averaging 402,000 viewers. In Quebec, an AMA of nearly 1.5 million viewers tuned in for Gala Les Olivier 2019.
