Belinda Smith has been named the first CEO, Americas for M/Six and is set to oversee strategy, client development and agency growth for the company in Canada, the U.S., Mexico, Uruguay and Argentina.
Smith is formerly the head of global marketing intelligence for Electronic Arts (EA), an M/Six client. She arrived at EA in 2017 as general manager of its global paid media business, building its first in-house media agency.
Prior to that, Smith was director of programmatic strategy at the Dentsu Aegis-owned 360i in New York.
Beyond her client relationship with her new employer, Smith has been advising M/Six’s board since June on its inclusion and diversity programs. She also serves a similar role with the World Federation of Advertisers as a global diversity ambassador, a role in which she will remain while at M/Six.
Smith will report to M/Six global CEO Jess Burley. M/Six is a WPP-owned full-service media agency within its Group M division.
