CTV continues to dominate national viewership: Numeris

The channel's medical dramas and police procedurals continue to resonate.

CTV controlled the top of the national TV rankings and most regional viewing for the second week in a row, according to Numeris data for the week of Mar. 29 to Apr. 4.

The Good Doctor maintained a strong lead with 2.14 million viewers, with Grey’s Anatomy also staying strong in second place (1.97 million viewers) nationally, followed by The Rookie (1.86 million) and Station 19 (1.71 million), with episode four of The Masked Singer – group B wildcard round – making its appearance in the top five.

Les beaux malaises 2.0 still tops Quebec’s Francophone TV with 1.46 millions viewers, and TVA’s Alertes, with 1.16 million viewers, made it back into the top five, followed by french drama L’Échappée, knocking SRC’s 5e rang and Toute la vie out of the rankings.

Medical dramas dominated the Toronto TV rankings, along with the Leafs vs. Jets matchup on Sportsnet with 400,000 viewers, the only market where NHL hockey had top five viewership this week.
