MiQ creates Canadian broadcast sales team

Craig Hamm joins as VP broadcast sales to accelerate the company's new advanced TV offering.

On the tails of its partnership announcement with Samba TV in Canada, MiQ has bolstered its sales team, hiring Craig Hamm as its VP of broadcast sales for its Canadian business.

Hamm (pictured) is the first member of a reportedly growing MiQ broadcast sales team, reporting to Shelley West, MiQ’s VP of sales. His mandate is to develop the broadcast area of the business and lead MiQ’s expansion in the Canadian advanced TV market, while anchoring their TV capabilities with Samba TV in the broadcast media industry.

Hamm comes to MiQ after eight years at Rogers Sports & Media, most recently as director of national multi-platform sales. Prior to that, Hamm was at CBC where he worked on creating integrated, multi-platform campaigns across programming like Hockey Night in Canada for clients including General Motors, Hyundai, TD Bank, Disney and Labatt.
