M32 Connect adds a dozen new publishers

Now up to 800 million impressions a month in Quebec, the rep house is preparing to look outside of its home province.

Quebec based ad tech and rep house M32 Connect has announced 12 new publishers it has signed in the last three months.

Twelve publishers will bring their 25 websites under M32′s management, the largest being cooperative press group CN2i, made up of Le Quotidien, Le Soleil, La tribune, Le Droit, Le Nouvelliste. Between them, they earn 60 million monthly impressions from over two million users per month.

Other news publishers that have signed on are InMedia, with 1.2 million impressions and 125,000 users per month between its seven local news sites; Courrier Laval, with two million impressions and 175,000 users a month; and EstriePlus, with 500,000 impressions and 70,000 users a month.

M32 Connect already covers 80% of the news category in Quebec, something that has been a “major strength” for  the company since it launch, says VP Stephane Campana.

Outside of local news, M32 has also signed real estate site Jolie Maison, beauty site Tornade Rousse, recipe hub Recette de Maman, financial website Stockchase and dating site Mate1, as well as job postings site Jobboom and dating app Réseau Contact from the Mdf commerce group (formerly Mediagrif). M32 now has 350 websites under its management, with network impressions of 800 million impressions per month in Quebec.

Campana adds that M32 Connect now has completed its coverage in the Quebec market, and from here will turn its focus on the rest of Canada,the U.S. market and internationally – Campana says the company has also signed with news publishers in French Guiana.

M32 connect has recently hired PR company Casacom, and is in the process of adding five people to the company to help manage its new growth. The company is also in the process of launching a new self-serve product for publishers in time for back to school this fall. The company also recently added an insights piece, the M32 Intell module, to its publisher portal.
